Usage & Storage Instructions
- Immerse the pot in water or buttermilk for 24 hours before first use.
- This improves strength and durability; the soaking liquid can be reused for cooking (zero wastage).
- Begin cooking on a low flame, then gradually increase to medium heat. Sudden temperature changes may cause cracking.
- Do not pre-heat an empty pot or add cold water to a hot pot.
- Avoid harsh detergents, as clay is porous and may absorb chemicals. 50 g organic wood ash is included for natural cleaning.
